Enlisting in the United States Marine Corps in 2001, Jose had the opportunity to travel the world. Jose’s infantry unit was one of the first into Iraq in 2003, and then returned to Fallujah in 2004. On his own initiative, Jose self-taught himself Arabic, enhancing his unit’s capabilities during both tours.
Jose went on to receive associate degrees in Biology and Chemistry, then transferred to the University of California, Irvine with the intention of going to medical school. However, in 2007, Jose chose to join Auction.com and traveled the United States selling real estate via auction.
Jose’s hard work, dedication, and determination enabled him to grow within the organization, serving as the VP of Operations, VP of Portfolio Management, and VP of Legal and Compliance.
While employed full-time and recently married, Jose felt the need to ensure his experience and business acumen was also supported by an education. Jose returned to school in the evenings to finalize his bachelor’s degree and then went on to pursue his law degree. Jose completed law school while working full time and supporting his wife as she gave birth to all 3 of their children during law school.
Jose has a passion for problem-solving, thrives under pressure, has a proven work-ethic, and has the intelligence to utilize the tools necessary to achieve solutions and accomplish goals. Jose’s ambition naturally led to starting his own practice out of law school, and he is now looking forward to building his firm by providing exceptional customer service and client satisfaction.
Jose is a certified scuba diver and pilot, enjoys boating, fishing, camping, off-roading, and all forms of sports/competition, having recently achieved a single-digit golf handicap. Jose is a Professional Services Responder with the Orange County Sheriff’s Department, serving on the Search and Rescue Unit and Aero Squadron. Jose currently serves as a Board Member for the Tustin Chamber of Commerce.
Shireen was born and raised in the heart of Columbia, South Carolina. She developed a competitive edge early in life, engaging in soccer and competitive dance, both for nearly a decade. Her journey continued as a member of the varsity cheerleading team from 8th grade through senior year, where she helped secure the state championship title all FIVE years.
Venturing to the West Coast, Shireen pursued a degree in Political Science at the University of California, Irvine, and became a member of the Delta Delta Delta sorority. The next chapter of her journey unfolded at Western State College of Law, where her knack for investigation earned her the highest honors in Evidence.
Fluent in Farsi, Shireen adds a cultural touch that enriches our firm’s connection with the local community. Shireen is an active volunteer with local charities and enjoys being a mentor to young women who aspire to break through cultural and societal barriers. Beyond the legal realm, her interests span tackling challenging outdoor activities, from traversing rugged trails to maintaining fitness through regular workouts. Shireen also takes pleasure in crafting delightful meals and spending quality time with her cat, Harley.
Jessica is a recent graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles, where she not only excelled academically but also dedicated herself to various impactful roles and activities. She earned a bachelor’s degree in political science and another in Chicana/o studies, achieving the esteemed honor of being on the dean’s honors list and graduating magna cum laude due to her exceptional performance in her courses.
Throughout her time at the university, Jessica was deeply committed to supporting Latinx students on campus and inspiring them to pursue higher education. She served as both an academic peer counselor and an administrative assistant with MEChA Calmecac, the university’s holistic Latinx retention program. Her passion for empowering underrepresented students extended to her role as a communications director with the campus Latinx Pre-Law Association, where she worked tirelessly to demystify the field of law for students of color at UCLA.
In addition to her academic and leadership roles, Jessica demonstrated her versatility as a writer and communicator. She contributed to the Daily Bruin, UCLA’s school newspaper, as a national news and higher education reporter, covering a diverse range of topics such as U.S.-Mexico border conditions, transportation, labor rights, and Latino representation in politics and education. Her journalistic endeavors showcased her dedication to bringing light to critical issues.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Jessica enjoys a rich array of interests, including reading, baking, crocheting, and attending concerts. As the Legal Assistant for ROBLES BABAEE, APC, she aspires to serve the community by offering the highest level of assistance to both clients and the attorneys representing them. With a long-term vision of becoming an immigration attorney, Jessica is proactively preparing for her future career by networking and attending pre-law programs and events. She is also dedicated to studying rigorously for the LSAT, ensuring she is well-prepared for the next chapter in her educational and professional journey.
Alyssa’s extensive healthcare experience uniquely positions her for success as a case manager here at RB Injury Lawyers. Her background as an Emergency Medical Technician equips her with an in-depth understanding of medical terminology, procedures, and the broader healthcare landscape.
In her role as a case manager, Alyssa leverages her expertise to effectively communicate with medical professionals, meticulously review medical records, and navigate the complexities of personal injury cases. She effortlessly understands complex medical documents, pinpointing essential details and potential areas of concern.
Complementing her medical proficiency, Alyssa’s degree in psychology (as well as anthropology) allows her to connect with clients who have experienced personal injuries. She understands the emotional and psychological impact these incidents have on individuals and their families, providing vital support and guidance throughout the legal process.
When not working at RB Injury Lawyers to position our clients for success, Alyssa is working to further her education in pursuit of her MBA. When she’s not at work or studying, she enjoys spending quality time with her furry friend, taking her dog to the beach.
